All interviews are conducted in strict confidentiality.

You are required to share information about your health condition and a valid medical report signed by a specialist physician with the representatives of the Disabled Students Unit in order to register with the Disabled Students Unit and to determine appropriate services. During and after the evaluation process, EOB staff will not share information about your health condition, diagnosis and other related details with any person, unit or institution without your consent. Your diagnosis information is not included in the documents prepared. Since these are not recorded in any database other than EOB, they do not pose a problem after graduation. If you wish, you can share details about your health status with faculty members or relevant individuals and units.

The Disabled Student Unit works to ensure educational equality. During your application, we determine your needs regarding the course, exam and homework practices (e.g. ensuring that you sit in a place where you can follow the lecturer and the board, printing your exam papers in large font, giving additional time during exams). These requests are evaluated by the Disabled Student Unit and the lecturers you take the course with are informed at the beginning of the semester within the framework of the principle of confidentiality.

Yes. The courses you take each semester will change and although the services are the same, the information in the documents should be updated according to the current semester. For this reason, after registering with the Disabled Student Unit, you must make a separate application each semester to benefit from the services of the unit. It is the student's responsibility to apply every semester.
